Artificial turf is a system, not a roll of grass
The visible turf is only the top layer. A residential installation also depends on removal depth, subgrade condition, compacted aggregate, finished slope, perimeter restraint, seam placement, infill, and transitions at patios, fences, beds, drains, and gates. If one quote names only a product and a square-foot total, it does not describe the complete assembly a homeowner is buying. Emerald Green Turf builds the written scope around the property rather than treating every lawn as the same flat rectangle.
For early planning, residential lawn turf generally runs $8–$14 per square foot installed. That guideline includes agreed demolition, compacted base, drainage work within the written scope, turf, infill, seams, fasteners, labor, and cleanup. Tight access, heavy removal, grade correction, complex curves, special edge details, pet requirements, or premium products can change the final proposal. Putting greens are designed and quoted separately because their contour, cups, fringe, and performance goals create a different build.
