Emerald Green Turf is a family-run artificial turf and outdoor-living company headquartered in Fort Worth, TX. EMG Turf was founded in 2022, with its earliest work and roots in Celina. The business has since made Fort Worth its headquarters while continuing to serve Celina and communities across the DFW metroplex. The operating idea has stayed simple: understand the property, write a clear scope, and do not hide base or drainage decisions behind a turf sample.
The company is family-run and fully insured. Nick leads estimates, product decisions, and project planning so homeowners can ask the person responsible for the work about access, drainage, edges, pets, warranties, and the proposed sequence before signing.

Nick founded EMG Turf in 2022 and serves as founder and COO. He leads the estimating and operating process: site use, access, drainage, base, materials, transitions, written scope, and handoff. The goal is not to oversell turf; it is to explain what the property needs and what the proposal includes.
He's a young dad — three kids, a wife, and a backyard turf install he did himself. The yards we build are the yards he wants his own kids playing on. That's the standard.
For lawn turf, we normally build a 4-inch compacted decomposed-granite base where site conditions allow, then document grade and drainage scope. The base supports the surface; permeable turf alone cannot correct a poor outlet.
We select the product and infill for the application, traffic, pets, sun, and maintenance plan. The turf products we use carry 10–15 year manufacturer warranties, with final terms provided for the selected product.
Project details are written before work begins, changes are discussed rather than hidden, and the completed space receives a final walk-through with practical care guidance.
